STORY BEHIND THQ
Once upon a time in Ujjain…
Ancient, holy and serene, ujjain remains one of the most important cities since the 4th and 5th centuries.
Avantika, Pratikalpa, Amaravati, Shivpuri are some of the names this beautiful city has been adorned with.
Surrounded with the blessings of lord shiva from Mahakaleshwar, the serene ness of Ram Ghat this city is brimmed with its religious ambience.
Situated in the most affluent and timeless area of Ujjain- the tower also known as Ghantaghar. This clock tower has become a home for most of the hotels due to its proximity to the Railway Station.
The nearby attractions are Jantar Mantar, Kalidas Academy, Harsiddhi Temple, Mahakaleshwar, Gopal mandir, Gadkalika temple, ISCKON temple, Sandipani Ashram and Kumbh Mela.
About 5 kms from the tower there is Kothi Palace forming one of the most important heritage places of MP. The palace is now also a host for district court Ujjain and many more administrative offices. It is a magnificent building constructed under the rule of Madhavrao Scindia with the help of the British Regency Council who also contributed 8 lakhs towards its construction. The work started in 1887 and was finished in 1888. A fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture inspired by the synthesis of Gothic, Rajput and Maratha architectural styles, here we have brick carved stone and stucco used with a balance pleasing to the eyes.
These places surrounding THQ makes the place all the more fascinating and convivial for our customers.
